- 1913 :
- Founded by Tomesaburo Kashifuji in Mibu Suzaku-cho, Simogyo-ku, Kyoto. Started manufacture and sale of Drilling Machines, Testing Machines, Dyeing Machines and Woodworking Machines.
- 1918 :
- Finished trial manufacture of 40-inch Hobbing Machine.
- 1928 :
- Finished trial manufacture of 14-inch Hobbing Machine Model K0.
- 1932 :
- Started manufacture and sale of Hobbing Machines.
- 1934 :
- Factory moved to the present address. (28 Kamonden Kamitoba, Minami-ku, Kyoto)
- 1943 :
- Re-organized to a joint-stock corporation. Capital increased to 1.5 million yen. New Hobbing Machine and Hob Sharpening Machine developed.
- 1954 :
- Finished trial manufacture and started selling High Production Hobbing Machine Model KS20 with subsidies from the MITI concerning the trial manufacture of machine tools.
- 1956 :
- Finished trial manufacture and started selling High Production Hobbing Machine Model KS14 with subsidies from the MITI concerning the trial manufacture of machine tools.
- 1964 :
- Capital increased to 100 million yen.
- 1972 :
- Started manufacture and sale of Gear Honing Machine Model KGH300.
- 1976 :
- Started manufacture and sale of the world’s first practical Carbide Hobbing Machine Model KH300HD. Completed manufacture of Rotor Hobbing Machine Model KS600R with subsidies from the MITI.
- 1978 :
- Started manufacture and sale of Hob Sharpening Machine Model KG250. Received an award from the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers for the development of a Gear Honing Machine.
- 1984 :
- Started manufacture and sale of CNC Hard Gear Finishing Machine Model KF220.
- 1985 :
- Started manufacture and sale of Precision Turn-Mill Machine Model KY10.
- 1990 :
- Company name changed to Kashifuji Works, Ltd.
- 1996 :
- Started sale of CNC Dry-cut Gear Hobbing Machine Model KC250H.
- 1998 :
- Started sale of CNC Thread / Worm Milling Machine Model KRM2. Kashifuji obtains ISO9001 Certification.
- 1999 :
- Started sale of Shaft Groove Grinding Machine Model KGV150.
- 2000 :
- Contract with Gleason Corporation concerning the manufacture and sale of gear cutting machines.
- 2002 :
- Gear Production Alliance (GPA) created by NACHI, KANZAKI & KASHIFUJI. GPA Engineering Corporation founded in 2003.
- 2004 :
- Kashifuji obtains ISO 14001 Certification.
- 2007 :
- Started manufacture and sale of CNC Compact High Speed Hobbing Machine Model KT50.
- 2008 :
- Marked the 95th year since its founding. New factory (3rd factory) completed.
- 2009 :
- Started manufacture and sale of CNC Large Hobbing Machine Model KA1200.
