The KRG2 efficiently grinds various types of large module rotors with a low number of teeth. Special tooth profiles can be ground with the use of a CBN grinding wheel. The KRG2 is especially suited for high-precision thread grinding on screw rotors and screw pumps etc.
The horizontal and vertical swivel functions incorporated in the grinding head allow machining of a part with a special tooth profile having both positive and negative pressure angles.
